It is fitted with an electronic lock with 3-8 digit easily programmable codes. The keypad contains numbers and letters for number or word combinations and has time lock after entering 3 incorrect codes. Furthermore, it has a mechanical lock for key override and is supplied with 2 keys.

The Yale safety storage box mini has a tamper resistant reset button located in the battery compartment and comes pre-drilled for wall or floor mounting. The interior is lined with a carpet so as to protect stored items.
