The Optex XWave2 WFX is an extremely cost effective yet uncompromising wireless 360° ceiling mount passive infrared detector. It provides 12 metres diameter detection range with up to 7 years of battery life. It has a hard spherical lens that protects against false alarms caused by environmental or temperature changes, with a sleek & compact design that suits all types of installation applications.

The XWave2 allows for easy enrolling of device by simply adding the battery when in "learn" mode. It also enhances battery life due to the continual self-correcting capability of the system which learn the environment and adapts power output to optimise the battery life. Furthermore, xwave2 devices allow for bi-directional communication meaning they can transmit and receive messages.
