The Cisa classroom door lock is a heavy duty cylinder escape lock. It has a silent action deadlocking latchbolt which is operated by a handle both sides. The outside handle can be activated and deactivated by the cylinder and is suitable for either left or right handed panic function classroom doors. This lock uses a split spindle and can be used with panic devices.
When the door is opened from the inside with the handle or the panic exit device, the outside handle remains deactivated after the door is closed (in stand-by).
