The Cisa 07083 panic electric strike has a zinc plated steel case with a painted aluminium alloy cover and chrome plated aluminium striker. It supplies a 24V DC continuous electric pulse and is for use with panic exit devices with a side latch. The electric striker allows for remotely controlled door opening and is fail secure meaning when there is no power the door remains locked.

It has 2 micro-switches; a principal micro-switch which indicates when the door is open or when the latch in not secure and a secondary micro-switch which indicates that the strike is closed and secure.
