The BPT AK-47 Steel Plate AK47 is a special level armour plate with a single curve and protects against AK-47 bullets. It has a high density shrapnel reducing foam layer and a black material covering. When used on its own it offers Level IIIA protection as per NIJ 0101.04 plus 7.62 x 39mm Ball (AK-47) at 730m/s. When used in conjunction with level II Soft Amour, it offers Level III as per NIJ 0101.04, e.g: 7,62 x 51mm Ball (R1) - Multi shots. Suitable for wearing on the front or back.
