Q: Can I register my key numbers with Saunderson Security?
Yes. Saunderson Security offers a free key registration service. Many keys supplied with our locks have a key number. This number may be on the key itself or provided with the product documentation.
By registering your key number with Saunderson Security you may be able to obtain additional keys at a later date if, for example, you loose or damage your original keys.
Furthermore, some lock manufacturers offer restricted key duplication on certain locks eg Cisa GD40D profile. When registered, these keys can only be duplicated after authenticating the lock owner. In these cases we strongly recommend you register your key number.
To register your key number please complete our Key Registration Form and return to us by email. The form must contain a signature. Where possible, we will register the signatories with the lock manufacturer. We will confirm registration of your key to yourself.
Requests for duplicate keys will need to be in writing and signed by a registrant. We will check the signature matches one on file before supplying keys.
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee duplicate keys can always be provided for all key numbers registered and cannot guarantee that registering your key number will prevent unauthorised duplication of your key. |
